Art is long, life is short.

In my view art doesnt have a definition, but despite of this art exist. Even more we really need
art. One of eternal conceptions of art is that it was supposed to be beautiful or represent the beauty. The
desire to make something special is characteristic to the artistic process.
I think that the purpose of art is to have pleasure creating something nice. rt is exciting, so there
should be no rules in it. rt is however personal, as you see and feel it, in your own way, thus there is
not right or wrong. If you had fun creating it and en!oy looking at it, then that is all that matters. "o, the
highest, purpose of art is free expression of your imagination and feelings.
rt can be drawing, painting, sculpture, architecture and ceramics which cover the more
functional works of art. #isual art is when an artist uses media and the available technology to
communicate in order to express him. The visual art is about art for society, art for the self, etc.
rt can influence people in different ways, for example$ in society music is an extremely
important form of art. It is one of the most sincere forms of expression. %usic can influence people
from many different background and cultures. "ociety is always impacted by music. t the time, rock
music was the most popular. This caused people be much stronger.
In conclusion I would say that art is a class whose limits are constantly changing. &inally, people
decide which works are artistic, and which are mere curiosities. nyway, art is eternal and every
generation will contribute to its enrichment.

Stress positive and negative sides of it.

'owadays life is very active, full of actions and events, different opinions and meetings with a
large number of people which leads to the fact that sometimes we react in a stressful way to many of
these situations.
"tress is the emotional and physical strain caused by our response to pressure from the outside
world. (ommon stress reactions include tension, irritability, inability to concentrate and a variety of
physical symptoms that include headache and a fast heartbeat.
Thus, many different things and life events can cause stress$ from physical, such as fear of
something dangerous to emotional, such as worry over your family or !ob. Identifying what may be
causing you stress is often the first step in learning how to better deal with yours stress.
I think life is more stressful now than it was in the past. 'owadays we have so many more
technologies and common stereotypes that re)uire certain people to do more than they do. (ollege
standards are very often too high for most of the students which also makes them be very stressful.
lso, some !obs are harder to get and we have to work and study hard and in a limited time. Every day
life makes us respond promptly to its challenges$ did I forget my phone* +id I park in a red lane, -ow
do I get a ride to the party, -ow I am going to get permission to go to the movies.
"o, I think its almost impossible to live without some stress. nd most of us wouldnt want to,
because it gives life some spice and excitement. /ut, if stress gets out of control, it may harm your
health, your relationships, and your en!oyment of life. /ut, anyway it is possible to keep stress under
control by taking a rest, meeting and talking to our friends, dancing, cooking, eating something tasty or
!ust taking a nap.
Life in a silent village versus life in a large modern city.
"ometime you may think, the city life is better than village life. -owever, there are so many
advantages and disadvantages both in city life and village life. ctually the city life is more
comfortable. s well as there are more opportunities for people to progress in their lives. There are a lot
of facilities for people in the city and they have more opportunities for making money. (hildren living
in the city can get a good education, because there are better schools in the town than in the village.
There are large shop complexions, banks, offices, cinemas, hostels, clubs, hospitals etc. in and around
the city. 0eople in the city have better transport facilities than the village. lthough living in the city
has many advantages there are some disadvantages too. The cost of living is very high in the city. There
is no fresh air and pure water. The environment is polluted with dust, smoke, garbage and dioxide gases
from factories. "o it is hard to lead a healthy life in the city. s well as there are so many advantages in
the village life. %ainly the people of the village live in unity and peace. The villagers earn money very
hard and earn money enough for live. The village people always try to protect their traditional habits
and culture. The village has clean air and the environment is very beautiful. The countryside has less
noise and rush. They can get fresh vegetables and fresh fruits from their own garden. The village has
not only good points, but bad once, too. lthough there are many intelligent people in the village many
of them are not well educated because of fewer opportunities. They have difficulties to keep up with the
new developments in their field or profession. They have to go to the city to supply their needs.
lthough the life in the city is more comfortable than village, I like village life more and I feel very
comfortable here. I will always gladly return to my native house.
The impact of human activity on the earth.
-uman beings are the most developed beings of the nature but at the same time they in!ure
severely their own mother. I suppose that human activity changes the face of the Earth dramatically and
the result of such activity we could see in the effects like extinction of very many species and global
warming.
1lobal warming is one of the most visible effects of mankinds operations. The greenhouse effect
is the increasing of the global temperature because of carbon dioxide emission into the atmosphere as a
result of excessive and irrational use of modern technologies. "ince the green plants use the carbon
dioxide during the photosynthesis some scientists believe that greenhouse effect may have advantages
like the bigger amount of the yield. /ut most scientists guess that the change of climate has had the
negative conse)uences$ modification of air composition, melting of icecaps and flooding of the great
amount of dry land. 2e could maintain the balance by increasing the amount of forests but we act in
the opposite way.
s the result of human actions several hundreds of species have became extinct every year. "ome
rare species destroyed by the guns, some by the pollution. &or instance there were millions of bisons in
the 'orth merica, but after the arriving of the civili3ation you could see these mighty animals only in
the reserves.
"ince the mankind need in more energy and food it starts to transform the nature too fast. "ome
time we will reali3e it and I believe it will not be too late.
The influence of modern technology on society.
4ife is impossible without 4aptops* t lead 5 years ago this phrase sounded shocking. 4ife is
impossible without parents, friends, communication and feelings. /ut reality is reality and most of
people cant live without their families and without modern technologies as well.
Technology can be an asset to society, but it also can be great destructive force that is determined
to destroy the very fabric of humanity. Technologys impact on society is both destructive and
constructive.
2hen we speak about the impact of technology on society, we always talk about the positive
effects of technology and how technology has brought luxury to life but forget that luxury has also
brought in la3iness. 2e talk about the internet as an information resource and a communication
platform and conveniently to it leads to internet addiction. 2e often discuss how technology has made
our life easier but easily forget that it has made overly depend on it.
Think of the day when there were no computers and no modern means of transport. -uman life
was highly restricted due to the unavailability technological applications. +aily life of the common
man of those times was not as luxurious as that of our times, but he was more active. +aily exercise
was integrated in the routine physical activities. I am against to the life style of today, which carries no
time slot for rigorous exercise and carries la3e and inactivity.
Of course, the society and the people are in a constant changing and we will always see the positive and
negative effects of the same thing.

Parents are the best teachers.
Some people are so important in our lives, especially our parents
because they are our families so they have always huge signifcance for us. I
believe that we learn a lot of things from our parents from the frst ages to older
ages. They teach us most basic things when we are children like eating manners,
playing games and some behavioural rules in society. While we get older, they
continue teaching and remaining the closest people for us.
The most considerable stage of our lives is childhood, because children are
ready to learn everything new and try to understand every behaviour around
them. Therefore, parents try to guide us through the most efective ways which
shape childrens characters.
!nother important factor is related to moral sense values and respect which
are "ualities tough mostly by parents.
#n the other hand, we can not make general statements about this sub$ect
because it is not valid in all situations or all people. Some parents behave more
freely to their children so children grow independently. In this case, parents are
only parents. #ther reasons depend on diferent situations. %or instance, a child
has to grow in the intuition of children because he lost his parents in the tra&c
accident or someone can hate his father because he is a murderer and according
to him, his father is the worst teacher. Thus, some parents arent good teachers.
In conclusion, we can not deny that parents are the most in'uential people in
our lives, !ll in all, most people learn most of things from their parents and this
fact makes them the best teachers e(cept for some situations.
Studies abroad.
)very year thousands and thousands of people leave the comforts of their
homes to learn )nglish in countries such as the *nited States, +anada, )ngland,
and !ustralia. Why do they do it, -any feel that by studying a language in a
country where it is spoken, they will be able to learn it more "uickly. #thers feel
that studying abroad gives them a kind of prestige in their home country. It may
even lead to a better $ob. !nd "uite a few people want to study abroad for the
pure pleasure and e(citement it brings.
Studies abroad give us more advantages such as. your eyes are opened to
the world, living in a new culture helps us reali/e new ways of doing things, and
also helps us to see that even though we are diferent, we are all human.
Secondly, you learn to take care of yourself because, living in another country,
even if it is with a host family it means you might be doing things you may not
have done in your home country, these include cooking, cleaning, washing
clothes. Thirdly, your life will be forever changed, one of the greatest things that
happen when you do something as big as live in another country is0 you become a
changed person0 your outlook on life is diferent. 1our new maturity can help lead
you to new places in your life.
2ut living and studying in another country can also have its problems. !lmost
everyone e(periences some level of homesickness. !nd a few people go home
earlier than e(pected because their ideas about living in another country were
diferent from reality.
3iving and studying abroad is a great opportunity as well as a huge challenge
which contribute to the maturity of the person who does it.

Should good friends have a lot in common?
I define friendship or friends as trust, understanding and I believe that in our lives we need
someone whom we trust or someone who trust us. It is not !ust sharing !oy and sorrow and helping each
other but its a big responsibility to know that the person understands his feelings and moreover trust
him. 6ou dont become friends with a person in a month or so. It may take months and even years to
know that person and to trust him. It is the sign of maturity and moreover, some way or another life
depends on it.
I think that its not necessary to have a lot of common interests with people in order to make
friends with them. In fact, some of the most rewarding friendships are between two people who don7t
have much in common at all, but if you have something in common with people, it can make it a lot
easier to start a conversation and plan activities together.
1ood friends often have a multitude of )ualities. /ut an ideal friend must have$ loyalty, a good
sense of humour, sensitivity, intelligence, good company, the ability to listen, have good sense, ability
to be faithful, generosity and honesty. ll the above and more should be readily found in your good
friends.
"o, we need friends, because it is the fact that we live. 'obody here on earth lives alone.
Everybody needs someone to share his feelings, his works, his happiness, and all of it. They are the
channel of love and affection. &riends are like childs heart which doesnt know wrong things. 2hen
there is a friend with us we feel secure, happy, huge support, and comfortable which you cant get from
others.
Controlling ur !n "ealth
-ow can we know that we7re eating foods that are supportive of our health, The first step is to
take responsibility for ourselves and pay attention to what we are eating8 so much of our eating is
mindless and habitual. 'ext, vote with your fork8 assume that if a food product is heavily advertised, it
probably contains substances that aren7t good for us in large )uantities 99 don7t eat it. This brings us to
eat less. mericans don7t work that hard anymore8 we don7t need all those calories. Eat smaller
amounts, but choose lots of different types of food. 1reen is good. "o is orange and red. Eat your foods
as close to their natural state as possible. nd take the time to cook from scratch. This is our health
we7re talking about 99 it7s worth spending a little time in the kitchen so we don7t have to spend time in
the doctor7s office.
Eating is one the most important events in everyones life. 2e en!oy eating 9 its part of who we are and
part of our culture8 in fact, eating is the hottest universal topic of all times. 2e depend on eating$ the
foods we eat are the sole source of our energy and nutrition. 2e know so much about eating$ we are
born with the desire to eat and grown up with rich traditions of eating. /ut we also know so little about
eating 9 about how the foods we eat everyday affect our health. 2e are more confused than ever about
the link between diet and health$ margarine is healthier than butter or not8 a little alcohol will keep
heart attacks at bay but cause breast cancer8 dietary vitamin antioxidants can prevent lung cancer or can
not. Eating is a paradox and a mystery that our ancestors tried and modern scientists are trying to solve.
"port plays an important role in the life of many people. It makes people healthier and its a good way
of spending free time.
"port is good for health.
