Introduction
Hello, have you wondered
how and why we we use wind
energy.Well then let us tell
you and amaze you just by
watching this presentation
What is it used for?
Wind power is used for pumping water and
Grinding grains.
Is wind harmful to the environment?
Wind turbines are quite harmful to the
environment because birds flying into the
blades can get broken bones or die
instantly. They kill 10000 birds a year. This will
decrease the amount of birds in a country
which uses wind turbines.
How do we transport wind?
The Wind changes to mechanical energy of the
turbines.
Then the turbines can generate electricity.
It then gives your home a useful amount of
energy to use for your daily use.

How much does wind provide?How
much do people use?
Over the past decade, wind turbines use has
been increased by 25% over a year.Still it only
provides a small fraction of the worlds energy.
Wind power is the conversion of wind energy
into a useful form of energy which we can use
to power up things.
How much does wind cost?
A windmill usually costs a lot normally the
price is around around $8,500 to $12,000 to
be purchased and installed. So if you want a
personal wind turbine, I guess you are gonna
have to save up for at least 20 years for that
windmill.
What countries use the most wind
power?
many countries use wind power
these are countries...
counties in order:
10.Portugal 9.Italy 8.Denmark
7.China 6.The U.K 5.Spain
4.France 3.Germany 2. India 1.The U.S.A
How do windmills work?
Wind turbines operate on a simple principle.
The energy in the wind turns two or three
propeller-like blades around a rotor. The rotor
is connected to the main shaft which spins a
generator to create electricity.
