As the members of Delta Delta Delta, we are writing to ask for your help in
raising money for ri Delta!s national philanthropy, St" #ude $hildren!s %esear&h
'ospital" St" #ude is a pediatri& treatment and resear&h fa&ility that has &hanged how
&hildren with &an&er and other fatal diseases are treated" All funds raised will go dire&tly
to St" #ude!s resear&h and treatment &enters in order to &ure &hildhood &an&er and other
&atastrophi& diseases" (e&ause all &hildren at St" #ude are treated regardless of their
family!s ability to pay, it &osts o)er 1"* million dollars to operate the hospital e)ery day"
his is why we need all the help we &an get to gi)e St" #ude the funds they need in order
to help &ure and sa)e the &hildren!s li)es who are &ontinually fighting for them ea&h and
e)ery day" All of these reasons, along with the hospital!s eagerness to work with us, are
why we ha)e de)oted our &harity work to raising funds for its &ontinued operation"
his year, ri Delta is sponsoring the ele)enth annual +(ids for ,ids- Silent
Au&tion" .hile this e)ent has been su&&essful in pre)ious years, we are trying to make it
e)en bigger and better" his is why we are &oming to you for help" .e are looking for
)arious items to au&tion off, whi&h means /ust about anything and e)erything, from
timeshares, to golf rounds, to sporting e)ents and gift &ertifi&ates" 0ne hundred per&ent of
the pro&eeds from this silent au&tion will go dire&tly to St" #ude" Also, if you de&ide to
