B4C Nursery Information Talk

This talk will be presented by Nursery Manager,
Leigh Weakley.
Leigh is a volunteer with B4C and has been with us
since January 2014, previously spending 12 years
with the for Society for Growing Australian Plants
(SGAP) in Townsville.

Leigh will talk about
challenges the nursery faces
how we do things to maintain standards
how we manage demand for plants for projects
database of stock
seed collection requirements
explanatory walk through nursery

Do join us for an interesting morning from 9am with a tour of the gardens
and chickens, followed by a topical workshop from 9.30 to 10.30.
Morning tea is provided, followed by outside activities
could be any of: planting out, habitat building, weeding, seed collecting
whatever needs to be done - between 11.00 and 12 noon.
