The group proposes developing a Community Hospital Performance Evaluation System. The web-based system would allow hospitals to set monthly goals and evaluate their performance based on fulfilling those goals. Currently, community hospitals use manual performance evaluations prone to environmental threats. A web-based system could solve this by automating evaluations and storing records in a secure database. The group will research local performance standards to set criteria for the system and automate compiling evaluations to save hospitals time.

PROJ ECT TOPI C:
The group has decided to make a Community Hospital Performance Evaluation System. It is a web- based program that will allow hospitals to set monthly goals and the system evaluates the performance based on the fulfillment of their goals set for the month.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM:
In the present, community hospitals have performance evaluation but in manual form (ex. checklist). Manual Records are also prone to environmental threats like floods, typhoons, earthquakes, etc. A paper by Asian Institute of Management cites that the use of Information Technology in Hospital Database Records are still limited. Some of the big hospitals have not yet implemented any Information Technology in their hospital database.
APPROACH/METHODOLOGY TOWARDS SOLVI NG THE PROBLEM:
Based from the information gathered, the group concluded that a web-based hospital performance evaluation system will solve the problem. A hospital performance evaluation system will help hospitals to find room for improvements because they will see their strengths and weaknesses. The group needs to find local standards on performance evaluation for setting the criteria on the system. As to what we have stated in the problem statement, the current performance evaluation system is done manually and therefore it is prone to environmental threats and it is also time consuming if they need to compile their evaluations for the year. The system will help them lessen their works because it provides them with their records are automatically compiled in a database.
