    REPORT FOR ASSESMENT OF MASHIMONI SMART LADIES

    SELF HELP GROUP.


    This is a group that meets at a members house in Mashimoni because they dont have an
    operational base yet. The group was registered in 30th May 2014 and a fixed membership of 25
    members. The group meets every Friday and on this particular day only 8 were absent but the
    rest co-operated very well. Data clerks in the assessment team include:

    Brian Odhiambo
    Moureen Mugure
    Eric Ayuke

    The assessment was successful despite the fact that we were amazed when the secretary said that
    they have Ksh.64, 000 but they dont have a bank account so all the money is in an M-pesa
    account.
    The group had a good record and we acknowledge that we had a good time with them even in the
    way they handled us and answered the questions
    We would recommend that the group be given intensive training on Project management and the
    necessary skills to take the group to another level.
