This document provides instructions for bending and forming sheet metal using a cornice brake. It lists the required tools and materials, which include a cornice brake, aluminum sheet, scriber, marker, steel rule, snips, try square, and handbook. The procedure has 9 steps that describe how to prepare the sheet metal, calculate the bend allowance, mark the bend line, insert the sheet into the cornice brake, align and clamp it, set the stop to the required angle, bend the metal until it hits the stop, and check the angle with a try square.

CORNIC BRAKE, ALUMINIUM SHEET OF REQUIRED THICKNESS, SRIBBER,
MARKER, STEEL RULE, SNIPPER, TRISQUARE&HAND BOOK, FAA-15A.
PROCEDURE:
1. PREPARE THE SHEET METAL REQUIRED FOR BENDING.
1) TAKE THE DIMENSIONS & MARK IN SHEET METAL.
2) CUT THE SHEET METAL AS PER DIMENSIONS.
2. CALCULATE THE BEND ALLOWANCE, TAKING THE THICKNESS, RADIUS
&DEGREE OF BEND, INTO CONSIDERATION.
3. ADD THIS BEND ALLOWANCE TO THE OVERALL LENGTH
REQUIREDFOR BENDING.
4. MARK THE BEND LINE ON THE SHEET METAL.
5. INSERT THE SHEET METAL IN BETWEEN THE JAWS OF THE CORNICE
BRAKE.
6. ALLIGN THE BEND LINE WITH THE EDGE OF THE CLAMPING BAR &
