RELEVANT COURSE PROJECTS

Senior Design Project, Virtual LAN and Load Balancing, B.S.N.L, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India
Spring, 2013
Designed a Virtual LAN using GNS3 and WireShark to overcome the short comings associated with traditional LAN.
Design an efficient communication system based on VLAN between various departments in S.R.M University, Chennai.
Load Balanced a VLAN which further made the network architecture more effective and efficient.
Electronic Devices, Ultrasonic Proximity Detector for the Blind
Spring, 2012
Designed and implemented a Sonar based UPD, which can alert a blind user as soon as a collision is about to occur.
Designed the sensor to detect anything within 6 feet and send a distress signal in form of a beep to the user.
Wireless Communication, Brain to Brain Synthetic Telepathy
Fall, 2011
Presented a paper on the design of a communication system using transmission and reception of brain waves.
Understood how with every word we think, there is a movement of neurons which creates a corresponding brain wave.
Designed (in theory) a system to capture these brain waves for creating a data bank and subsequently using this data bank to
help understand what a person is trying to speak/say.
