PARA ROWING OPEN DAY

@ BELFAST ROWING CLUB, LOCKVIEW ROAD, BELFAST.
Rowing is easily adapted to a wide range of disabilities, with racing classifications
for the normal rowing stroke - namely Legs, Trunk and Arms (LTA), or an adapted
stroke for Trunk and Arms (TA) or Arms and Shoulders (AS) athletes.

Are you:

A para-athlete looking for a new challenge?


Physically fit - ideally with an endurance or power background?
Wanting to compete at a high level locally, nationally and internationally?
Tall or have a long reach or sitting height?
A TA (Male), AS (Female) LTA (Female)? Needed urgently to complete
current crew boats.

Rowing Ireland can provide:


Fully supervised high performance coaching sessions.
An integrated fitness training programme to help you maximise your full
ability.
Use of adaptive equipment to get you on the water (through membership of
Belfast Rowing Club).
A clear competition pathway in Northern Ireland, Ireland and further afield.
Progression and enjoyment in the inclusive atmosphere of a vibrant rowing
club.
