Shape of ovary
1-Bean shape: in mare.
2-Oval shape(almond): in ewe and doe and cow.
3-Oval shape: in bitch (without estrous cycle) and in estrous cycle
grape
cluster.
4-Discoid in shape: without estrous cycle in (sow) but when it happen
it
is been grape cluster.
5-Alaptical in shape: in she camel.
Description of ovary
1-Two surfaces:A-Lateral surface.
B-Medial surface.
2-Two borders:A-Free border.
B-Attach border.
3-Two extremities(pools):A-Tubal extremity.
B-Uterine extremity.

Structure of ovary
1-Tunica albuginea: this layer act as a connective tissue.
2-Paranchyma: which is divided into:
A-Cortex: out layer of ovary (except in mare).
B-Medulla: beneath the cortex (except in mare).
