17. The following consecutive readings were taken with a

level and levelling staff.
3.550, 3.000, 2.600, 1.600, 0.800, 2.500, 3.100, 3.200,
2.500, 2.100, and 2.300.
The level was shifted after 5th and 8th readings. The first
reading was taken on an arbitrary B.M. of R.L. 100.000.
Calculate:
(a) The R.Ls. of change points
(b) The difference between R.Ls. of first and last
points.
Rule out a page of field book, enter the above readings
and apply checks.
