Romero Fuentes a teacher who grew up in Jocotenango, Guatemala suffering from the
results of decades of civil war, currently the city is in poverty with many of his students
facing poverty and lack of motivation to continue.

He has turned his home into a community center offering free classes; meals and
low-cost Medical care to help the children of Jocotenango, Guatemala have a better
future.

Currently his non-profit organization Los Patojos has helped over 1,000 children. His
organization is now a safe place for young people who need protection and opportunity.
