Grade One Homework

November 24th- 28th


Sight Words: old, quit, make, brother, them
RAH RAH!: Read At Home each night for at least 10 minutes. Start with the book in
your duotang and make sure to color it in on your sheet. Share Weekend News with
someone
in your family. Dont forget you can also log into Raz-Kids from home.
Word Work: Practice learning those sight words.
Here are a few possible ways you may do so:
1. Play Build a Snowman with someone at home (similar to Hangman).
2. Print each word on 2 different cards. Use your word cards to play Memory.
3. Build your words using lego pieces or another small toy at home.
4. Draw a picture and hide your words in your picture. Ask someone at
home to find the hidden words in the picture. Did they find them all?
Math: Play More or Less with someone at home. Have someone quiz you with
questions like-Whats 2 more than 15? Whats 2 less than 9? Whats 1 more than
12? Whats 1 less than 13? Continue with other More and Less questions.

**Save the Date: Christmas Concert is Wednesday, December 17th at 9 am. Storm
Date is Thursday, December 18th.
