Daily Writing #2
While I was in elementary school at Exton Elementary, my 2 nd and 3rd grade classes
would spend a lot of time in our schools library. The schools library was a decent sized library
with a wide variety of books, from picture books to encyclopedias. It was in this library that I
really built up my literacy narrative, specifically reading. The librarians were very helpful and
offered help to all the students. They helped us with reading, writing, and verbal skills. During
my time in the library, I found some very interesting books and I tries to read what I could. At
this point, I found that I especially loved adventure and fantasy type novels. This library was not
where I learned to read, but it was where I excelled as a reader.
