I grew up in the age of technology and even in my elementary school we learned to use a
computer. One of the first times I used a computer was at my elementary school in 1 st grade. We
learned how to read and speak properly using a computer. There would be a book online that our
teacher made us read out loud and the computer recorded our voice. One of the biggest uses of
technology while I was growing up was the use of Microsoft PowerPoint and Word. These two
programs were used throughout just about every grade I was in, and I still use them today. These
experiences with technology helped me learn to read, write, and communicate while in school.
