LEARNING TASK 1.2

Task no.1
Experience as a Learner

How Technology Influences My Life as a Learner

I had no concept of technology while I was in primary school. I only

know how to play outside with the other kids. During my high school years,
I came across the definition of technology, but I had no idea what it meant.
For my tasks and projects, I use a computer and a smartphone, however I
am not skilled at navigating various websites. I also set up a Facebook
account. Now that I'm a college student, I've realized that technology isn't
only about gadgets and the internet; it can be found in the farm, school,
hospitals, and more. I realized now that we are all surrounded by
technologies, and that as a result of the new technologies that science is
releasing, our society is becoming more modernized. I can say now that
technology has influenced me to become more creative in life since I was in
elementary school until now that I am a college student, because the world
will become more modernized than it is now.
Task No.2: Expectations as a Future Teacher

How will I use technology when I become a Teacher?

When I eventually become a teacher, I plan to use technology as a

teaching tool. I'm going to use technology to teach my future students
about what I know. Technology is my teaching weapon; I'll utilize it to
teach, provide a lesson, and share my knowledge. It's critical to recognize
that students are already interested and engaged in using technology; this
opens up a world of possibilities for schools and teachers to benefit from
integrating some forms of technology into the classroom and to improve
teaching and learning, so I'll use technology in my classroom. Technology
in education is a powerful thing for learning that is sweeping through
schools all over the world. After all, now students have grown up with digital
technology and expect it to be part of their learning experience. There are
some benefits of using technology in classroom like; Improves
engagement, when technology is integrated into lessons, students are
expected to be more interested in the subjects they are studying.
Technology provides different opportunities to make learning more fun and
enjoyable in terms of teaching same things in new ways. Encourages
individual learning, no one learns in the same way because of different
learning styles and different abilities. Technology provides great
opportunities for making learning more effective for everyone with different
needs.
