consisting of 5–10 sentences. Use an A4 size bond paper, Arial, 11.

1. What for you is line dancing?

Every dance style falls into one of two categories: Spot Dance or Progressive Dance.
Spot dances have movements that keep the dancers in one general region of the floor
during the dance, whereas Progressive dances include moves that keep the dancers moving
around the floor. The Line of Dance is a fictitious line that portrays the flow of traffic around
the dance floor in a counterclockwise direction. To avoid collisions, all dancers in traveling
dances like the Waltz and Tango walk in the same general counterclockwise direction.
Line dancing is one person dancing a series of steps alone, but usually next to other
dancers also dancing along to a song. An instructor is only needed when learning the steps
to a specific song. Once that song is “learned” the line dancer can dance the steps anytime
to that particular song.
To popular country-western, pop, and urban contemporary tracks, line dancing is
performed. The dance has certain moves that are repeated throughout the performance.
Some line dances are "four-wall dances," in which participants alternate facing directions to
face each wall as they complete a set of steps. Most line dances, especially those that are
well-known, are not cued. Because there are so many single people in today's society, the
origin of Line Dancing could be a societal requirement.

2. How will you explain the clothing used in line dancing?

Going out to dance in a bar or club does not necessitate any prior choreography or
attire expertise. Unless you're planning on going line dancing, you'll need to know how to
dance and what to wear. Because they're repeated throughout a song, the dances can
usually be picked up after a few minutes of observing. The clothes, on the other hand, are
something you'll make a conscious decision about before you enter the pub.
A shirt and jeans or a skirt would be a decent start, and a cowboy hat and boots may
or may not be appropriate. Line dancing attire is all about striking a balance between comfort
and flair. No matter what clothing you wear or how familiar you are with line dancing; it is
very important to carry yourself with confidence.
Remember that no one is judging you, even if you are new. Everyone on that floor
was also new at one point. Make a friend and seek advice if you need assistance or just a
confidence boost. Pay attention and enjoy yourself. You can enjoy the rest of your life with
only a few simple steps. Don't pass up the opportunity to go in there.
