Learning Activity 1

1. Describe today’s learners. Cite specific learning styles these students

demonstrate?

 The teaching method nowadays is called technology education, where you

can learn even if no one is teaching you. No matter where you are, no
matter what time it is, you can learn anything because we now have
technology that can teach us knowledge and give us ideas. These are
technologies like smartphones and computers. Through these devices, you
can learn in different ways. Through Facebook, Google, Youtube, etc.,
you can easily learn whatever you want to know and that’s the advantage
of technology learning.
 2. What does it mean to teach 21st Century?
 Teaching in the twenty-first century entails using modern technologies
to facilitate student learning. It also means utilizing everything that
is important in today’s world so that students will be able to live and
prosper in today’s economy, as well as having the ability to guide
students and prepare them for the future.

3. What Specific Skills teachers must have addressed the learning style of the
21st century learners?

 There are lots of skills that teachers must have in the 21st century
style, and these are easy to adopt to new environments, especially in
technology. Teachers must know how to use technology in teaching, like
computers, projectors, and even the internet. Critical thinking,
communication skills, creativity, problem solving, perseverance,
collaboration, information literacy, technology skills, digital
literacy, media literacy, global awareness, self-direction, social
skills, literacy skills, civic literacy, social responsibility,
innovation skills, and thinking skills are other skills that teachers
must have in the twenty-first century.

understanding.

used to promote and access education. In addition, it is also the
practice of introducing information and communication technology tools.

instructional aids, and instructional materials similar? How are they
different?

 They are similar because they are under the scope of Educational
Technology that they are process of learning through technology
 They are different from functions or methods to be used for teaching.

5. How do you imagine life as a student without technology especially in our

situation today?

It’s really hard to imagine being a student when you wake up in the
morning without technology. I’m sure you’re always late because your
smartphone alarm no longer exists. It’s really hard to imagine as a
student without technology, especially in our situation today. If there
are no vehicles/cars, you are going to walk to school, and what if your
house is far from school? I’m sure you are always tired and late. If
there were no vehicles or cars, traffic would be a nightmare with all
the traffic lights out. Without technology, it’s difficult to study well
if there’s no internet, no computers, and all the gadgets that we use
for research. If there’s no light, you can’t read well; if there are no
phones, there’s no communication from other relatives. And if there’s no
technology today, I’m sure there’s no solution for the viruses spread in
our country, a possibility that more positive cases and it affects the
school, no face-to-face classes, and I say that it’s really hard to be a
student without technology.
