What role/s do(es) technology play(s) in your studies during pre-COVID19 times?

How could
COVID19 impact the use of technology for education in the next normal (i.e., after the current
pandemic)? How do you see yourself as a future educator to increasingly “tech-savvy”
generations? Can technology (e.g., robots with artificial intelligence) REPLACE teachers in
the distant future?

Technology plays a huge part in ones’ life even before the pandemic. I, as a student, every day learning
became much easier it became part of my daily life from communication to researching and etc. Way
back then we used to go on schools and universities studying are exhausting and time consuming we
barely had time doing things like researching for homeworks but with technology it become more easy
for a lot of us.

COVID – 19 made a huge impact when it comes or talked about the use of technology in the next
normal. The use of technology expanded, and kept expanding as technologies continue to change and
grow, schools and universities became innovative during this time of pandemic for effective outcomes.
During this time schools and universities learned a lot and possibly apply this learning about technology
in the next normal to have a way more better classroom environment for students to learn more
effectively. For example some universities can still considerate the homeschooling, for some, or the
online modules as they provide the load allowance and technology that students will use.

I see myself as one of those tech-savvy and child centered teachers. Being part of the society, that
continue to grow when it comes in technology I believe that I can gain knowledge and expand even more
and able to fit in the mold, to become that a good teacher.

I, personally don’t believe in such things but I believe that teachers can be innovative in distant future,
with the help of technology, but completely replaced by A.I. are seems illogical and impossible for me. As
it is said that teachers always will be more important than technology, it described in Naisbitt’s (1984)
MegaTrends: “whenever new technology is introduced into society, there must be a counterbalancing
human response. . . the more high tech [it is], the more high touch [is needed]” and in Roblyer&Doering
(2014) said that “we need more teachers who understand the role of technology plays in society and in
education, who are prepared to take advantage of its power, and who recognize its limitations”
