1. HOW TECHNOLOGY INFLUENCED MY LIFE AS A LEARNER?

- I was exposed to technology in my early elementary days but back then the only thing I
know that these technologies are only for entertainment and games. When I was on my
high school it is where I learned the purpose and good contribution of technology in my
life wherein it helps me make things especially my study become easier and that it is
more convenient than the traditional. In my college life, technology has a great impact
since the COVID-19 affected the entire education system and the only means to study is
that, through online classes and platforms. Nowadays, we can use technology to help us
learn and teach.

By simplifying my academic life, technology has changed my life as a student. It is lot

simpler today compared to the past, when we had to visit libraries to find books for our
schoolwork. Technology has changed my life as a learner by making my academic life
easier. You can search/find different results and solutions that aid us with our education
with just one click. It is lot simpler today compared to the past, when we had to visit
libraries to find books for our schoolwork. With just one click, you can do a search and
discover several outcomes and solutions that support our academic task.

2. AS A FUTURE TEACHER, HOW WILL I USE TECHNOLOGY IN TEACHING?

- There is a growing trend in the use of technology in the classroom. As a future teacher,
I will always look for ways to use manipulatives in my lessons to increase meaning and
authenticity for students. I would love to keep my students engaged, motivated and
interactive in the classroom and still be able to get through the content each day. In
order to achieve this, I need to have an arsenal of tools to draw from. That is why I agree
with (Tataroglu & Erduran, 2010) as stated in the International Electronic Journal of
Elementary Education (IEJEE) that “The use of technologies like IWBs in the classroom
can provide teachers and students convenience and variety. “

Today's kids have access to a variety of electronic devices including the internet, which
allows them to find information quickly. Our society is quite technologically advanced. It
will be impossible for teachers to keep students interested and involved unless they are
open and willing to leave their comfort zone and employ various tools in their classes to
fit students' talents and interests. If teaching is solely focused on imparting knowledge,
then students would not need to attend classes as they could obtain all the information
instantly online. I think that the main goal of education is to provide pupils the tools they
need to become better citizens. I strongly support the use of technology in the
classroom because of this.
