Technolory Can Make Leaming Enjoyable


While I was in the toddler stage of life, there was not much anphasis on technology in
any aspect of my day, even when school first began for me. When I was learning how to read,

write, and do math, I would have to sit at the table and practice on worksheets or practice reading
with my parents. There were not any websites that made learning easier or more fun, like they
have for children now.

I didn't even know how to use electronics when I was a toddler, and now

most kids are taught at an early age how to use phones or tablets. The two-year-old I babysit
how to take selfies on my phone and change the filter on the picture.

As technology use continued to increase, so did my want to learn how to use everything
and find different ways to learn using technology, instead

play games and learn at the same time. At my elementary school, we used a program called

"First In Math" where we would play math games on a website and compete for points. It was so
much fun to have an enjoyable way to play games that allowed me to actually learn at the same
time.
The constant dependence on technology has changed my literacy narrative by allowing
me to rely on autocorrect to spell words correctly when texting or even typing papers. The ability
to have access to so many different things while completing homework on the computer
constantly distracts me, which affects my ability to write a quality paper because I am trying to
