o Welcome the children to Circle Time.
o Good Morning boys and girls. Today is Monday. Today we are going to learn
about animals that lives on the farm.
o We are also going to learn about farm life.

Activity #1

First I would ask the children, How many of you live on a farm?
Do you know what animals live on the farm?
o I chose this activity because I want to see how many children is familiar with
The name of farm animals.
Sounds of farm animals.
Food of farm animals.
Use of farm animals.
Farm animal shelter.

Activity #2
o Next, I will read a story, On The Farm, by David Elliot

o I chose this activity because it teaches about the animals who lives on the farm, and
sound each sound each animal make.

Activity #3
o Next, I will ask the children to name some animals that lives on the farm.

What are some animals that you see on this farm?


Where do different animals live?

What does a farmer have to do to take care of different animals?

o I chose this activity because it teaches patience. To see what the children has
learned about the farm, and animals lives on the farm.

Transition Activity
o Finally, I will end my circle time with a song, Old McDonald had a farm.
o The children would then be released to their respectable table for small group
time.

o I chose this transition activity because it enforce learning about animal sounds, and
animals that lives on the farm.
