What do you hope the children to learn?
The child will be able to express thoughts and feelings through language.
The child will be able to name two farm animals.
The child will be able to recognize letter form.
The child will be able to disseminate sounds and associate it with appropriate letters.

Besides speaking, children will be able to listening. Listening is very important.


By listening children can follow the direction and develop another skill.
What are some ways that the children can reflect on what they have learned?
The children will be able to reflect on what they learn through storytelling and their creative "plays" and
"pretend" games. The children will express ideas and feelings about the farm animal of choice through pretend.
The children will be able to reflect through playing "make-believe", day-dreaming, talking with imaginary
companions, and reading fantasy books. The child will be able to reflect through brainstorming activity during
circle time. There will be a mini workbook about their favorite farm animal to put together with their parents.
