SUBJECT OUTCOMES:
This course involves history, philosophy, and objectives of imprisonment and the development of prisons. A study on institutional agencies in the
Philippines, to include the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology which oversees city, municipal, and district jails; provincial jails and the Bureau of
Corrections and their structures, management, standards, programs and services. It also includes the study of the relationship of Jail management and Jail
administration in an organizational environment which pertains to the utilization of available resources and the processes used in police organization. Likewise, it
deals with the study in the preparation and development of procedures and techniques in accomplishing each of the primary tasks and functions of the
organization
