1. If I had my own writing class my grades would be based on the content that Im reading
from the students. Quality would mean more than quantity. When I read their
assignments I would see what point theyre trying to get across and how its delivered.
2. When Im usually in my writing class my grades were based on a mix of quantity and
quality. There are times where its based on quantity, despite the quality of the paper with
a little bit of paragraphs and pages.
3. Yes, I have encountered this problem multiple times in high school. I also agree with his
analogy because in order to give a grade, you have to analyze the work and performance.
5. Yes, I dont like anything that is standardize because people have their own way of
thinking and solving problems. If we just learn and reflect on it to become reflective learners,
it would be more beneficial.
7. Writing is good when the writer actually delivers his/her argument smoothly and they
elaborate on their thoughts.
9. When you grade a paper, its basically like cutting off a persons thinking and revision
process completely because youre grading the final draft. When you have this final draft
its not open for revision because whats done is done. Writing is a thinking process that will
always change and be open for revision over time.
