Progress Report on Service Learning Project.

Purpose
To report our progress on our service learning project for the Fort Worth Community
Arts Center.

Introduction
Currently, some work has been done according to schedule while some have not been
done according to schedule. Our progress on the artist websites took a little more time in
beginning. In our first week of our planned schedule, we were supposed to have begun
designing the websites. But the lag time between communicating with the artist has
pushed designing the websites a week and a half over due. But this week the group
should be able to begin substantial amounts of work on it. On a positive note, the
information manuals have already been looked over by Angel Lopez as according to
schedule. The completion of the reorganization of the information manuals will be done
shortly.

Completed Work
Task 2 has been completed. The group has already begun looking over and have begun
the reorganization of the information manuals. Task 1 had a late start, but designing of
the websites should be started very soon. Our artist, Joanne Cervantes, has asked the
group to pick a theme that has a white and black theme or background and has suggested
picking a theme that has an option to add a photo on the homepage so viewers may see a
piece of her artwork when visiting her website. This is all the task we have had up to this
week.

Future Work
Task 3, or the completion of the reorganization of the information manuals should be
done by the beginning of the next week. This will just take a collaboration of the team to

make a table of contents on the information and placing the results of the collaboration
onto paper form.
Task 4, or the completion of the websites should be done by the end of the 5th week. This
will include creating all desired tabs and pages for the artist and also placing content such
as artist contact information, artist resumes, and examples of artist work on gallery pages
and in distribution on desired pages.

Conclusion
Though there has been a setback to the progress of the project, our team should have no
trouble regrouping and recovering to make substantial progress. All there is to do now is
complete the task at hand. By the end of this week, the reorganization of the information
will be complete. By the end of week 5, the websites will be finished and the group
will be able to present in week 6.
