A Little Background
Information

My name is Calvin Henry; I will be your science

teacher for the year. I graduated high school
here at Mountain Home and went straight to
college to get a business degree, I quickly
realized that wasnt my calling, teaching was. I
also coach basketball, so any time after school
that is where Ill be. Interest is the key to
learning so I suggest you try to bring a positive
attitude to class each day and I will make it as
fun as possible.

Back Too School Fun

Every year the science club puts on what we like
to call exploring the universe, this event is held
every second Tuesday of the month. This night
focuses on constellations, phases of the moon,
and other occurring events that may happen like
eclipses.
More information about this event will be given in
club meetings, posted on the school bulletin, and
announced on the day of the event.

Reminders to Students in lab

No loose clothing in lab.
No food/drinks while experiments are
taking place.

Glasses and Lab apron must be worn.

*Violation of rules will result in a warning and
second violation will result in loss of participation
points.

Tuesday
Pg. 33 1-5 due. Empirical value worksheet
assigned.
Wednesday
EV worksheet due. Show students testable
problem using experimental design. No HW.

Thursday
Analysis Scientific Data. Assign SI Units
worksheet.
Friday
SI Units WS due. Find solutions in real world
problems that can be seen in scientific data.
Assign Pg. 54 1-17.

2. Pen or Pencil-Pencil for test

3. Science Book (provided)
