1. How were the objectives met?

The students did a really good job at remembering the movements of their classmates and also
imitating them. They were very receptive with the Name Game and effectively met the goals
of the objective.

2. Was the material too difficult? Simple ? Uninteresting ? Directions not clear? Explain
I believe my material was just right for the students as far as level. They stayed engaged most of
the time and were up for the challenge of dancing each others Name Game phrases. The
students also grasps concepts of the BrainDance very well. They were able to imitate and also
change their ideas and make decisions as they were being prompted.

3. How was the Lesson challenging to the students?

The biggest challenge for the students in this first lesson was staying focused while another class
was taking place on the other side of the gym, but as far as the lesson plan is concerned the
students were challenged when it came to isolating certain body parts during the BrainDance.

4. What skills need additional practice?

The students could use more practice with isolating body parts and also with coordination of
using multiple body parts.

5. What students need particular attentionskill, social, emotion, etc.?

I have a few boys that need some discipline issues nipped in the bud. I have a few girls that need
to be okay with speaking up about their ideas publicly.
