Proposal to Create a Training and Reference Manual for the Golden Triangle Mall

Security
Summary
The Golden Triangle Mall security does not have a training and reference manual for duties
while on patrol. We need a reference manual because our staff only consists of only three full
time employees, and five part-time employees. It is inconvenient for our security supervisor to
move his schedule around so much in order to train our newly hired part-time employees and
explain to them what to do in every situation that may come up. We could use this manual to
train our newly hired part-time employees and also create a standard of what duties are to be
performed and how theyre expected to be executed while at work.
Current Problems
The Golden Triangle Mall security has mostly part-time employees. These part time employees
have only been instructed by word of mouth of what to do and what is expected of them while
patrolling. This type of instruction may have been a different experience for each person and lead
to confusion to what every employee is expected to do.
They may only work two to four days a week and do not learn much of what goes on in the mall
during the days they do not work.
