The definition of Child Labor


- It is a noun
- It means: The use of children in an industry
or a business, especially when illegal, or
considered inhumane.

What Causes Child Labor?


What causes Child Labor is:
1. Poverty
2.Limited access to education
3.Repression of workers rights
4.Limited prohibitions of child labor

How many children are being enslaved today?

Today, there is a large amount of 30 million


children being enslaved around the world, and
there are 60,000 children in the U.S today. This
is still a problem today and we are trying to
prevent it.

What contributes to Child Labor?


What contributes is:
1. Lack of Education
2. Learning a Profession
3. Incomes
4. Earning own money
5. Other reasons

The Slaves living condition and treatment

Their living conditions are really poor, and the


way they were treated is that the owners used
them to be abused, killed, farm, do really
extreme things you dont do at all.

The University of Iowa is looking for ways to


prevent child labor everywhere in the world.
They are looking for the people that are making
the kids work, and arrest them.
