This letter is to serve as Sara McPhilmys supervisor evaluation for her time at the Childrens Hospital
Foundation during the fall semester, 2014. Sara has been a great asset to our Childrens Miracle
Network team and an absolute pleasure to have in the office. She is professional, punctual, reliable,
efficient and truly passionate about our mission. Sara has taken initiative to lead several projects for
multiple people on the team throughout her time here, and also took it upon herself to help mentor our
new intern, who on boarded with us much later in the semester, which shows leadership on her part.
Above and beyond her hours in the office, Sara has gone out of her way to attend events weve had this
fall, which gives her the opportunity to see her office work in action as we execute our events. Over the
course of her internship she has completed 272 hours. It has been apparent to me that the experience
of meeting patient families at Childrens National has been a very meaningful one for Sara, and really
puts in perspective why were all working so hard.
We will be lucky enough to have Sara stay on with us through the spring semester of 2015 and I look
forward to her continued growth and professional development as a part of the Childrens Miracle
Network team at Childrens National.
