Sheet No. 5 Title: Projection of Planes Date: 31.08.2012
01. Draw the projections ofa triangular lamina of side 50 mm, when it is parallel to VP, with one
of its sides parallel to HP.
02. Draw the projections of a triangular lamina of side 50 mm, when it is parallel to VP, with one
of its sides perpendicular to HP.
03. Draw the projections of a triangular lamina of side 50 mm, when it is parallel to EP, with one
of its sides perpendicular to VP.
04. Draw the projections of a triangular lamina of side 50 mm, when it is parallel to VP, with one
of its sides inclined to HP at an angle 25.
05. Draw the projections of a triangular lamina of side 50 mm, when it is parallel to HP, with one
of its sides inclined to VP at an angle 30.
06. Draw the projections of a rectangular lamina of size 60 mm x 40 mm, when it is parallel to
VP, with its longer sides parallel to HP.
07. Draw the projections of a pentagonal lamina of edge 40 mm, when it is parallel to HP, with
one of its sides perpendicular to VP.
08 Draw the projections of a hexagonal lamina of edge 30 mm, when it is parallel to EP, with
two of its sides perpendicular to VP.
09 Draw the projections of a hexagonal lamina of edge 30 mm, when it is parallel to EP, with
two of its sides perpendicular to HP.
10. Draw the projections of a rectangular lamina of size 60 mm x 40 mm, when it is parallel to
VP, with its longer sides inclined to HP at an angle 30.
11. Draw the projections of a pentagonal lamina of side 40 mm, when it is parallel to HP, with
one of its sides inclined to VP at an angle 40.
12. Draw the projections of a hexagonal lamina of side 30 mm, when it is parallel to EP, with two
of its sides inclined to HP at an angle 25.
13. A rectangular lamina of size 60 mm x 40 mm is resting with one of its shorter edge on TIP. In
the top view the lamina appears to be square of size 40 mm. Draw the projections and find the
laminas angle of inclination with HP.

14. Draw the projections of a hexagonal lamina of side 40 mm when it is resting with one of its
corners on HP. The lamina is perpendicular to VP and is inclined to HP at an angle 400.
