III.PROCEDURE

Tostartoffthelabwehadtoknowwhatpercenterrorwas.Itiswhereyoufindoutthe
percentageofhowfaroffyourestimatevaluewasfromtheactualvalue.Forthelab,weusedthe
metricsystem,suchas:grams,meters,centimeters,etc...
1. Ourfirstcalculationwasthemass,ingrams,ofa3holepunch.

The3holepunchwaspassedaroundtheclassroomandonebyoneeach
studentheldthetangibleobject.

EachindividualhadtowritedownanExperimentalmass,aguessofwhatthe3
holepunchingrams.

measuredit.

Thenweusedaformulatofindourpercenterror.

Lastly,eachtablehadtofindtheirtableaveragepercenterror.
