WHAT I LEARNT ON DODDLE

NO.3

By Matthew Walker 7J

ADJECTIVES
I did all the revision and the quiz and I found out this:
That adjectives are describing words.

Example
The colourful cat sat on the beautiful, green and furry
mat.

PLURALS
Plurals are when a word that means one of something changes to a word
that means more than one of something. All plurals don't just end in 's' they
could end in 'es' or the word could completely change overall. Some even
stay the same.

Example
Boy would change to boys
Child would change to children
Dish would change to dishes
Fish would be fish

CONVENTIONS
Conventions are pieces of text that has correct spelling,
punctuation, grammar, paragraphing and capitalizing. You
use conventions to make the text easier to read.
Example
Here are some examples of what text would be like if you
didn't use conventions:
my brother got home from school he left for football
do you have football tonight "asked jamie?"
