HISTORY-

Last Inspection

Last inspection was carried out Nov, 2013.

During inspection, during last years inspection, gear set (SR # 212112) was in
good condition with no observation on any gear.
Gearbox was last replaced in Jan, 2013.
JOB DESCRIPTION:

Gearbox replacement of QK-111-G.

OBSERVATION:

Abnormal sound was reported by operation, after scaffolding gearbox inspection

performed and found pinion float is higher than recommended. The installed
gearbox serial no. was _______________.
WORKDONE:

1. Erected the scaffolding inside & outside.

2. Coupling guard and spacer of coupling were removed.
3. Top hood FRP cover , Fan blades (Qty = 08) and Fan Hub were removed.
4. Gearbox dismantled & shifted to ground with 60 ton crane.
5. Removed the coupling hub from old G.box & installed at new one.
6. Shifted the G.box at site & coupled with spacer shaft.
7. Installed Fan hub & blades, angle of blades adjusted to 9.5 degree.
8. Removed Scaffolding.
9. Axial float of pinion shaft was also checked and found within range.
10.

Old oil was replaced with new one (Shell Morlina 220).
