Dear Ms. Martinez:

I am writing to you today to seek a part-time job in teaching Taekwondo. I am

currently a freshman at Mountain Pointe High School, and I wish to gain more
experience before I graduate. I saw your position after being enrolled at your
school, and wish to begin training to teach.
Using my prior experience as a Second Degree Black Belt, I wish to use that
training to pass on to the students that I would be teaching. Secondly, I have
some experience in communicating with large groups of people, as I have
been an announcer for the West Valley Pilipino Cultural Group during their
events. I understand that working at a Taekwondo Studio also involves
handling financial business regarding the customers. I have prior experience
in this field, as I am currently taking business courses, such as computer
applications and marketing.
