Alanzo is very
confident and
independent
boy. Alanzo can
take care of all
of his basic care
needs and is aware of others needs and
enjoys helping.
Alanzo easily handles different or new
happenings/things and stands up for
himself and others verbally when things
seem unfair or wrong.
Alanzo is learning how to care for his wellbeing through responsibility and
understanding of safe and unsafe risks

Alanzo has a strong sense of belonging


from the previous year and enjoys playing
with older friends as well as caring for our
younger friends.

Alanzo enjoys participating in range of


activities with everybody from pairs to
large group games.

Alanzo expresses himself with clarity in


English and enjoys nonverbal forms of selfexpression such as art. Alanzo is showing an
interest in the Arabic language which we will
continue to support.

Exploration/Mana Aotroa

We will continue to support and challenge


Alanzo through more teacher directed
activities as he gets closer to school age. We
will be focusing on recognising the letters
and their sounds this terms, he is already able
to recognise, write and pronounce a and b
(lower case). We will support this by sending
home books to read with topics of his
interests such as animals.
His interest in science is nutured through
