Well Being/Mana Atua

Nusayba is very independent and confident
young girl. Nusayba will speak up for herself
and look after her emotional well-being even
with close friends.

Belonging/Mana Whenua
Nusayba has a strong sense of belonging at
AnNur as outlined previously. Nusayba is
able to get along with all peers and has
formed close friendships, particularly with
best friend Kamila.

Contribution/Mana Tangata
Nusayba has very strong pro social strategies
and eagerly takes on phrases and ideas to
help her negotiate socially. Nusayba has a
sense of social justice and will ensure
fairness for her younger friends.

Communication/Mana Reo
Nusayba has an excellent grasp on the
English language and confidently expresses
herself with clarity. Nusayba enjoys
expressing herself through movement and
dramatic play.

Exploration/Mana Aotroa
Nusayba has many strategies for active
exploration, thinking and reasoning. Nusyaba
enjoys making and testing working theories
of her natural world for example life cycles,
gravity and motion.

Nusayba will be leaving us shortly to return

to Malaysia. In preparation for this transition
we will focus on Nusaybas sense of self, her
identity, and strengthening connections with
home. Her mother plans to enrol her in an
English speaking school which will suit
Nusayba.
We hope her enjoyment for learning and
active exploration will continue in Malaysia
as she strengthens her positive learning
dispositions/habits to succeed in later
education.
