Smart-Attendence management system using wi-fi

Abstract
Managing the attendance using traditional approach is really a time taking
process. The person has to maintain the attendance record in registers and file
using pen and paper. The problem with this approach is that it requires lots of
paper which are the part of our non-renewable natural resources and when we
have large class then it is also very time taking process.
We are in the age, where we have to think about
sustainable development. Managing the attendance using mobile phones,
provide an alternative way in this direction. Smart attendence system is an
android application developed for daily student attendence in college, offices and
institutes. We will use our android device for attendence entry.
Main objective of this project is to add mobility and automation in the
existing attendance process. It is time saving and no needs to maintain several
separate records and manual calculations. This system gives a prior intimation to
student as soon as his attendance goes below the specified attendance deadline
in the form of an alert.
