How to get the appraiser and reviewer updated in iPerform?

Ans: You have the option to update/confirm the appraiser and reviewer details in iPerform on the landing page of
iPerform by Update Reporting Structure TAB till the time the appraisal record is at Appraisee stage. If there is any
requirement to update the appraiser and reviewer after the appraisal record have moved to the Appraiser stage, then
please raise a ticket by following the navigation path : Myhcl Smart Service Desk Application Issue, Service
Request HR Program First (Performance Management) Appraiser Reviewer Mapping Changes.

Process
You can update the Appraiser and Reviewer mapping on your own using the Update Reporting
Structure TAB
You will have to raise an SSD and attach the Old & New Appraiser consent mail
Your appraisal record will have to be referred back to the Appraiser stage by the Reviewer,
subsequently raise an SSD and attach the Old & New Appraiser & Reviewer consent mail

2. Is it possible to get the personal details updated/corrected in iPerform?


Ans: In iPerform, your personal details will get static (will not change) post the appraisal initiation. If there are any
corrections required to be done in this section, then you need to update it in the ESS portal and raise an SSD on the
application team to refresh your record. Only by updating your details in the ESS portal will not result in reflecting it
correctly in iPerform. You need to raise an SSD under SSD (Smart Service Desk) Application Accessibility (Issues
faced in accessing application) iPerform
3. How to update Deployed Job and Job Family?
Ans: The Deployed Job and Job Family as displayed in the your Personal Details section in review form is the
mapping signed off for you by your HR BP and DU Head and will remain static for the purpose of the current ongoing
appraisal. If you want to get your job mapping updated in the organizational systems, the standard process of update
of job mapping is through RAS (Resource Assignation System).Please connect with your Project Manager for that.
For employee based in US Geo, this update happens through RAT ( Role Alignment Tool) If you have to comment on
your Deployed Job / Job family please give this through the comments section to your Appraiser & Reviewer/ connect
with your HR BP
4. What action should I take in case of application or technical issue?
Ans: For any technical issues it is advised to raise a remedy ticket and get the support of local technical desktop
support team. For any kind of Application related issue kindly raise an SSD under Application Awareness / Application
Usability (Process flow, Functionalities, Reports and Navigation Queries)-iPerform
5. Is it Mandatory to update my skills in Skill Profile System, before submitting my appraisal? (Applicable
only for Application Services and Systems Integration Delivery , ERS, Infrastructure Services, Sales & Sales
Support and Enabling Functions globally)
Ans: It is necessary for E0-E5 Career Level Business Line employees to update their skills My HCL My Career
My Skill Profile (SPS) and the input is used as a reference point for all talent & career decisions.
6. Whom should I approach if I have any concerns/dis-satisfaction with respect to the output of the iPerform
Process (Final Performance Rating & Rewards decisions)?
Ans: iPerform captures inputs from the Reporting Manager* (Appraiser), Reviewer* (RMs RM), DU Head, HR
Partner and Senior Management members of the respective function / Line of Business. The process identifies
relative performers and ensures that the employees see themselves as differentiated relatively compared to the
others who have not performed at similar levels. Performance is always judged on a relative basis rather than on an

absolute basis with an assumption that the degree of difficulty is same for everybody and the focus is to identify
performers who relatively performed better compared to others in similar environment. You are requested to
appropriately discuss your views/concerns with your respective Managers and/or Business heads, as the iPerform
exercise output is a culmination of decisions taken by the respective business unit.
