IMMIGRATION IN THE EU

1. How is Immigration a problem for the EU?

Immigration is a problem for the EU because women in the EU can be forced to
work as prostitutes for gangs. This is a problem because there is a trade in immigration
that is carried out by gangs in the EU. People can profit from the trade, but it is the
wrong people profiting from the immigration trade with gangs.
Immigration is also a problem because people are illegally migrating into
countries and replacing people in the workforce. If people are immigrating into the
countries where the EU is, that could change the function of the EU and the way it
works.

2. How are they dealing with this problem?

One way the EU is dealing with the immigration problem is creating tighter border
controls to get into locations, like the German, British and French governments have
done already. Other countries have restrictions for getting into the country and placing
permits to control the immigration.
Another way the EU is dealing with immigration is is allowing it to occur to
help the economy. Having more people enter a country could help the country increase
their standard of living and incomes. Any money that could be made from immigration
would not hurt the economy of the country or the EU. The more people that come into a
place increases the economy and makes it more appealing to other people to go to. `
