Babysitting
I have babysat kids anywhere from age one to age thirteen ever since I
was ten years old.
Assistant Basketball Coach
Every Sunday, I help coach two clinics; kindergarten through second
grade kids, as well as second grade through fourth grade kids.

2006-Present

Parkinsons Yard Sale Fundraiser

I have held three yard sales so far with all proceeds donated to the
Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons research. Total, my fundraiser
has contributed approximately $800 for research.

2008-Present

Locks of Love
I have donated ten inches of my hair five times for the Locks of Love
Foundation for cancer patients in need of wigs.

2013-Present

Linwood Summer Enrichment

Every summer, Im assigned to help two classes twice a week for four
weeks. The activities have ranged from cupcake making, Zumba, crafting,
sports, and princesses.

2014-Present

Key Club
At Mainland, I signed up for Key Club to participate in volunteer
opportunities in the community. I help with anything from school events
and fundraisers, to helping community events.

INTERESTS
2005-2014

Basketball
I have played basketball on numerous teams, including my middle school
basketball team for three years. I practiced and played with the Varsity
team every year as a shooting guard and had 7 tournament wins on the
school team as well as 6 tournament and South Shore league wins on my
travel team. I was the 2014 Linwood Holiday Tournament MVP in eighth
grade and the fifth and sixth grade foul shooting champion in fifth grade.

Beach Volleyball
I have played a total of five tournaments over the course of two summers
and won two of them, placed second in another, and placed third in the
last two. I have been consistently playing with my partner, Ivelisse Diaz,
who is currently a senior at Absegami High School.

Club Volleyball
I started playing club volleyball this year and have a starting position as a
Libero on my 15 year old team. I was asked to play for the 17 year old
team, but because it was my first year, I wanted to play in my own age
division.
Playing Percussion Instruments
I began playing piano at age six, but have been taking lessons on and off
due to the sports commitments. I began playing snare drum at age ten
and completed the necessary requirements to participate in the award
winning Belhaven Middle School band. I was then taught a variety of
instruments but had a certain knack for mallet percussion. Every year, I
was selected to participate in at least one featured mallet or percussion
ensemble piece.
