Subject: Letter of Recommendation It gives my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Ms. Cody Elmer. She is currently in the process of completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies. The reason I am writing this letter is because of the dedication that Cody has shown, toward obtaining as much experience in the classroom as possible while working toward her degree. I have had several occasions to observe and evaluate Cody in the classroom. She works well with students, parents, and staff. Therefore, I think I can describe the characteristics that make her a good candidate for your employment. As a student, Cody has volunteered at both Grunsky Elementary and Henry Elementary helping me in my classroom for the past five years. She has participated in many activities, not only in my class but many other classes and has completed several hours as a volunteer as well as hours for required classes. All the tasks/assignments that I assigned her were all completed in a timely manner and her work reflected an attention to details and a concern for quality projects. In addition, over the course of the last two years she has been employed with Therapeutic Pathways and has worked with Autistic children. Interpersonally, Cody is self motivated, extremely patient and loves to work with children. She communicated her ideas well, while at the same time respecting the rights of others to express their ideas. She is thorough, and follows directions carefully as given to her by her supervising teachers. Moreover, Cody is well liked and respected by her peers and has a very open-hearted, giving personality. In Short, she is enjoyable to work with on both tasks and relational dimensions. Ms. Elmer is an outstanding person and has the potential to be an outstanding instructional assistant and teacher. Please give her your serious consideration; she will be a valuable asset to any employer, or district who hires her. Sincerely, Mrs. Christie LaPierre, MS First Grade Teacher Henry Elementary Stockton, Ca
