Dear Sir or Madame,

Good day. My name is Monique Lee, and I am a fifth-year architecture student from the University of
Santo Tomas, Manila. I am currently in the process of doing my thesis study, and I would like to request
to visit and tour the Jockey Club Innovation Tower. I will be in Hong Kong from August 22 to 24, 2014
and am hoping that I can be accommodated in one of these dates.
My thesis is on the architectural design of an innovative design school that will help raise the calibre of
design education in the Philippines. This thesis project is endorsed by my thesis adviser, Architect Melvin
Patawaran. My adviser has recommended the visit to PolyU Design as an aid to my research. I am very
interested in the PolyU Design's approach to design education, and would like to know more in relation to
my thesis study. The architectural design of the Innovation Tower is very inspiring and visiting the
building will help broaden my knowledge in the design of creative education spaces, which is what my
thesis project is all about. I am also hoping that I may interview a member of the faculty, to aid in the
research in the 'programme' section of my thesis.
