How do the two systems of Democracy differ as far as


branches of government are concerned?
In the US democracy there are three branches of the government.
They are executive, legislative, and judicial. In the parliamentary
system there is a legislative and a prime minister.
2. Regarding elections, how do the systems compare?
IN the US democracy elections are held every four years. In the
parliamentary system elections happen whenever the prime minister
loses majority on a major vote and the elections happen immediately.
3. Do their leaders share similar terms in office? Explain in
complete sentence format. The leaders have different terms in
office. In the parliamentary system the prime minister could stay in
office for life. In britain there are forced elections every five
years.
4. What are the "advantages" of each system of government? [at
least two each]
The US democracy has more of an equal power over all three
branches of the government. The parliamentary government can get
rid of the prime minister whenever they make a bad decision and has
more of a freedom of leaders.
5. Identify a disadvantage" of each system.
The democrats and republicans dont compromise so it is hard to do anything that would
help the USA.
The parliamentary system there are so many parties that none of them can hold a majority.
