SS32 V-Plough Scraper

Scorpio reserve the right to change dimensions and specifications without prior notice

The V-Plough is designed to deflect dirt and debris from the upper surface of
the return belt before the nip position. The scraper is mounted to the conveyor
stringers ahead of the tail pulley or other nip location. In cases of severe
contamination and/or an inclined belt situation, the centre point mounting is
spring loaded to provide a constant positive pressure on the plough, thus
ensuring continuous belt contact and optimum cleaning.

Simple two-point centre-mount suspension

system for:
(1) Greatly simplified installation.
(2) Maximum flexibility to accommodate
changing lateral belt angles.
(3) Patented spring-loaded rear mount
ensures constant positive pressure on belt,
irrespective of belt angle.
(4) Positive pressure of plough on belt
surface.

(5) A simple arrestor chain on rear mount

prevents the 'V' frame from contacting the
belt surface, when blade is worn out.
Low design height allows plough to be

installed in minimum space.
