Whats Happening This Week

Reading:

We will continue working with questioning (who, what when, where,

why, how). We will also talk about thick and thin questions. We will also work on
restating the question to start an answer.

Word Wall:

The second grade word wall words are in the homework packet.
The current words that we are working on are in bold print. Students will be
expected to spell all of those words correctly in their homework as well. Use the
lined paper to practice writing the words and writing sentences for those words.

Math:

We will begin working on our geometry unit.

Writers Workshop:

Our focus will continue to finish writing our informative

piece.
