Description of how to implement in the class: The teacher will introduce the
lesson to the students. The teacher will help them choose pictures that are in
Kidspiration that have to do with a national holiday. If the students need help thinking
about what are some national holidays, the teacher will help them think of some.
They will be required to choose six pictures. After they do that the students will write
one sentence under each picture about the holiday. They will then save their work
and present it to the class using the Smartboard.
Level of Technology Implementation (LoTi): This is at a level 2 because the
students are focusing on understanding the content. To move this up to a level 3 the
students can add more sentences to each picture about the holiday. They could also
choose another holiday and create another Kidspiration page.
Description of the sample BBPT file provided *:

This is a students work from Kidspriation showing where they will write their
sentences about Presidents Day. It has six different pictures that the student chose to
use for Presidents Day. Here they will write a sentence under each picture.
Other comments about your proposed BBPT Activity: This activity can be reach
a higher Blooms level by having the students create another map of a different
national holiday. Another way would be to have the students work in groups so they
can each write a sentence under each picture.
