    ARE FILIPINOS WORTHY OF JOSE RIZAL'S MARTYRDOM


    For me Rizals martyrdom is worthy because of what he did on our country.
    Rizal died for us holding his belief on Filipino Freedom. Without the use of
    brutal force. Thats why he rejected the plans of Andres Bonifacio. He use his
    pen to fight the Spaniards here in the Philippines. For example his novels Noli
    me Tangere and El Filibusterismo. He exposed what are the bad doings of
    Spaniards in the Philippines. His death galvanized the hearts and minds of all
    Filipino patriots, paving the way for our nation's freedom from foreign
    oppression.
