1.Emf & mmf method

GENERAL PRECAUTIONS
The autotransformer should be kept at minimum
voltage position.
Before switching off the supply the variac should
be brought back to 0 minimum voltage positions.
Initially load should off condition.
Field rheostat should be kept in minimum
resistive position initially.
